Blue Boy Script

EXT.-DAY LARGE, FOREST LANDSCAPE on the BLUE PLANET
Several static landscape shots reveal an area devoid of animal life. Near a body of water, THE BLUE BOY, a 200 year-old child God with a human body and a monster face sits on a rock. He stands and stares at his reflection in the water.

I was all alone.

EXT. DAY – TREE-FILLED FOREST on the BLUE PLANET
The blue boy sits beneath a tree, the same tree where he always sits. With his hands over his face, he begins to cry. CU of a single tear dropping from his face. Tears fall and then crawl along the grass like tiny worms, jumping into the water.

EXT. ENTIRE UNIVERSE
Multitude of tears jumping from a one planet and onto another.

EXT. A GREEN, GRASSY PARK on the GREEN PLANET- CLOUDY, DARK SKY, DAY
Billy, a round shaped 7 year old child, holds his hand out to gage if the rain has begun. He looks to the sky. Distant thunder is heard, and within seconds, a rain of the Blue Boy’s tears begins to fall.

EXT. ROWHOMES on the GREEN PLANET-DAY
Rain falls before the eyes of Twizz, the unhealthily skinny 35 year old father of Billy, and Cedric,a chunky 20 year old, who has just been woken up by the sound of thunder. We see both as they look time out the windows of their respective homes.

EXT. CITY STREET on the GREEN PLANET-DAY
Twizz and Cedric briskly walk out the door of their homes, looking to the left. They both witness the initial formation of a rainbow in the not too distant park.

EXT. GREEN, GRASSY PARK ON THE GREEN PLANET- DAY
The rainbow grows from the ground up like an effervescent ether. Once it is fully formed, it hardens into a solid. Cedric stands next to Twizz, with his hand on Billy’s shoulder. All three stare at the rainbow. Twizz and Cedric begin to ravenously consume the rainbow, followed by Billy.

EXT. DAY – TREE-FILLED FOREST on the BLUE PLANET
The Blue Boy is still beneath the tree and just coming out of his fit of tears. As he does so, a cute kitten, Tama, emerges from behind the tree. The blue boy turns to his right and looks at Tama as he scurries away. The Blue Boy stands, looking in the direction where the cat ran. He walks to his tree, picks up his Thyrsus and thrusts it into the ground. As he pulls it out, a fountain of milk emerges from the earth. The Blue Boy places a makeshift wooden bowl underneath the fountain.

EXT. ROWHOMES ON THE GREEN PLANET—NIGHT
Twizz and Billy look out from one window, as Cedric looks out another. No rain in site. Each respective character darts his eyes, looking back and forth, up and down.

EXT. TREE-FILLED FOREST on the BLUE PLANET-- DAY
The Blue Boy pets Tama as he drinks the milk from the bowl. They sit together near the lake, and the Blue Boy sees the reflection of himself and Tama in the water.

INT. TWIZZ'S HOME-NIGHT
Billy lies on his stomach with a piece of paper and a colored pencil. He draws a rainbow and eats the paper.

INT. CEDRIC'S APT.-NIGHT
Cedric begins to eat his polka-dot, multicolored bedspread but spits it out. He falls on the floor and begins to cry.

INT. TWIZZ'S HOME—NIGHT
Twizz lies in bed, looking sickly and pale. Billy brings him a tray with a glass of water. Over Billy's shoulder, we see Twizz's skin begin to decompose and discolor.

EXT. TREE FILLED FOREST ON THE BLUE PLANET-SUNSET
The Blue Boy and Tama sit by his the lake at sunset. CU of Blue Boy's face. Cut back to a LS, showing the Blue Boy, but no Tama. The Blue Boy turns around.

EXT. TREE FILLED FOREST ON THE BLUE PLANET-NIGHT
In the darkness of night, the Blue Boy walks through the forest desperately looking for his cat. The depths of the forest become complete black darkness. The Blue Boy finds himself in a haze of smoke. The smoke envelops him and he is taken to…

INT. TWIZZ’S HOME—NIGHT
The Blue Boy finds himself among the people of the Green planet. He sees Twizz, Cedric, and Billy lying down. When he touches Twizz, the skin on his face begins to melt. The Blue Boy is saddened, and cries a tear. It hits the ground and forms a miniature rainbow. As the rainbow forms, the skin on Twizz’s face begins to regenerate. The Blue Boy stares to the left and sees the wounded corpse of Tama. A large rainbow grows from it enveloping the screen in colors.

EXT. TREE FILLED FOREST ON THE BLUE PLANET-SUNRISE--DAY
Morning is here. The dream is over and the sun is rising, The Blue Boy wakes up with Tama by his side.

INT. TWIZZ'S HOME—NIGHT
Cedric and Billy stand over Twizz's bed. Twizz is sicker than ever.

TWIZZ
I love you guys.

Tears begin to fall from Twizz's eyes, as his inevitable death approaches.

INT. TWIZZ'S HOME—DAY
Twizz's emaciated, fermented-looking corpse lies in bed. Cedric and Billy stand before him. Billy sheds a single tear.

BILLY
Why, God?

As he says this, the Blue Boy's shocked face becomes visible in the sky.

EXT. OPEN FIELD ON THE BLUE PLANET-DAY
The Blue Boy stands straight, having just witnessed the death of Twizz, Zoom out from his shocked face.

EXT. TREE FILLED FOREST ON THE BLUE PLANET-DAY
The Blue Boy sits at his tree. He tries to cry in the same position as always. It doesn’t work. The Blue Boy places Tama on a rock and walks away. He tries to squeeze a tear out, but turns around to see Tama following from behind. It doesn’t work.

EXT. THE SHORE OF A SMALL LAKE on the BLUE PLANET—DAY
Tama sits on a large rock. The Blue Boy stands poised with his thyrsus. The Blue Boy holds it over his head, and brings it down fast. Just prior to the penetration...

CUT TO: EXT. THE SHORE OF A SMALL LAKE—DAY-EXTREMELY LONG SHOT
The Blue Boy stands before the rock with an unrealistically large and fruitful fountain of blood flowing before him.

EXT. THE PEAK OF A HILL ON THE BLUE PLANET—DAY CU OF THE GRASS
Droplets of Blood fall on the grass, crawling like worms.

EXT. THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE
Multitude of blood drops jumping from a one planet and onto another.

EXT. ROWHOMES on the GREEN PLANET-DAY
Cedric and Billy look out the window of Twizz's home. A rain of blood is falling.

EXT. GRASSY PARK ON THE GREEN PLANET-DAY
A blood-soaked rainbow sits. Billy and Cedric approach and take bites. The rainbow meat is succulent.

EXT. THE PEAK OF A HILL ON THE BLUE PLANET—DAY
The Blue Boy starts to cry, sitting on the ground, unable to think about standing. His body and clothing are covered in blood.

EXT. GRASSY PARK ON THE GREEN PLANET-DAY
As Billy and Cedric are finishing up their last chunk of rainbow meat, a hard rain begins to pour. They look to the sky and embrace in a hug.

EXT. THE PEAK OF A HILL ON THE BLUE PLANET—DAY
The Blue Boy is still crying, now very intensely. We see him begin to cry so hard that he is convulsing. It gets more and more intense, until its convulsive apex, when the Blue Boy's head begins to crack open. Upon the final separation of the spheres of his head, a beam of light blasts forth and Tama jumps out, completely soaked in blood.

EXT. THE PEAK OF A HILL ON THE BLUE PLANET—DAY—LONG SHOT
The Completely blood drenched Blue Boy sits on the ground, embracing Tama. He begins to smile, and a single tear falls from his eye.
